Festival of Lights
Friday and Saturday, November 29-30, 2013
Kick off your holiday season with Festival of Lights the weekend of Friday, November 29th through Sunday December 1st. Santa arrives on Friday at Noon via the US Coast Guard on Penobscot Bay to signal the beginning of the festivities. Friday Evening at 6PM, the world's largest "Lobster Trap Christmas Tree" is lit. On Saturday, The Farnsworth Art Museum hosts "Share the Wonder" fun for all ages and the afternoon brings the Holiday House tour that benefits the Rockland Public Library. Saturday evening at 6PM is the Festival of Lights on Main Street with floats, gingerbread houses in shop windows and music filling the air. Sunday morning join Santa for Breakfast downtown and start your holiday shopping.

Pies on Parade Package
January 24 - 26, 2014
Join the Historic Inns of Rockland for the 10th Annual Pies on Parade in celebration of National Pie Day!
We are being joined by over 20 of Rockland's finest restaurants this year. Each of the
participating Inns and Restaurants will feature samplings of original pie recipes including everything from sweet to savory and meat to seafood pies. Sample over 40 different kinds of pie while raising money for our local Food Pantry. Proceeds benefit the Area Interfaith Outreach Food Pantry.

Enjoy the wonderful museums, galleries and restaurants in the Rockland area in the quieter time of year with our winter version of the Savor the Arts of Midcoast package. Plan to spend two days at signature museums and two nights relaxing at the Lindsey House. The package is available November through mid-May for any two Wednesday through Saturday nights.
